Switzerland
Grüezi, Bonjour, Buongiorno, Allegra
The Swiss Confederation is situated in the heart of Europe, shares its borders with five different countries, and includes four different language and cultural regions. Landlocked Switzerland is home to more than 8 million inhabitants who are among the happiest people in the world. Only around a quarter of the country’s available area is built-up, with the country nestled in the Alpine mountain range. The highest point of the country is 4,634 metres above sea level. Switzerland contains more than 1,500 lakes. This explains why no inhabitant lives further away than 16 kilometers from a lake. The unique topography allows more than 60% of the energy needs to be met using hydropower.

Lengnau
Since 1982 we have called Lengnau our home. The commune with its excellent transport connections lies around 20 minutes from Zurich and five minutes from the German border. It is home to around 3,000 inhabitants and approximately 80 commercial and industrial businesses. The commune’s origins date back more than 1,200 years ago.
Production Facilities
Our modern production facilities were built in the year 1982, expanded for the first time in 1986 and supplemented with the high-bay warehouse and office building in 1993. In 2004, the production facilities were optimised with the new production areas for soft pastilles and production plants. A further expansion according to the latest pharmaceutical production standards was realised in 2018. Altogether, we now work on more than 12,000 m2 across seven production plants and 16 packaging plants. The raw materials, excipients and finished materials are stored temporarily in the 4,200 pallets available in the high-bay warehouse before being used or delivered to our partners. Even though we are the biggest employer in the region, more than 120 employees only live less than 10 kilometers away from our facilities.
