Since 1993 the company is managed by Silvia Huber-Meier. Together with her family and more than 200 employees, we develop product concepts and market these with our business partners for a large number of consumers and markets.

Today
Our 200-plus employees produce lozenges, tablets, pastilles, jellies and instant granules every day. These products are delivered to Switzerland and more than 40 other countries.
2018
We invest further in the Lengnau production site. The new production complex has been successfully completed for the production of pharmaceutical lozenges. It contains Europe’s most modern production machine for manufacturing pharmaceutical lozenges. Thereby we meet the latest hygiene, process, checkpoint, premises and ventilation requirements.
2007
We develop the first gummies containing vitamins – also as a sugar-free version. Tasty and soothing of the first gummies with vitamins for young and old.
2001
The production of OTC-products increases with additional value for the consumer. We build more production facilities according to the latest GMP standards.
1993
Handover of the management board to the oldest daughter Silvia Huber-Meier and acquisition of Tiki AG & Belart Confiseur AG.
1982
We move to the new production facilities in the canton of Aargau.
1981
We begin to export to other countries. Besides Finnland, Japan and also the USA become more important markets. New markets, new products, and many new ideas require more space.
1975
First accreditation of the GMP-Certification.
1974
Lemon tea becomes ICE TEA, and a new trend drink is invented. A trend product for the whole family is born. The still very successfull instant ice tea was created and developed by Domaco.
1972
Launch of the first instantly soluble children’s teas made from pure herbs and fruits – specifically formulated and produced for babies and children. The advantages of these instant drinks are the purity of the herbs and fruits. The constant evloution of this new technology form the start of the success story of instant drinks.
1969
The product portfolio is expanded with the development of the production technique to manufacture the first sugar-free peppermint tablets. Alfons Meier performs multiple tests with different raw materials until he succeeds making tablets using sorbitol.
1964
With his business brain and his spirit of innovation, the founder invents the process for transforming herbs into a soluble form – recipes and processes that are still used by Domaco nowadays. The process of instantization is revolutionary and a key factor for market success. “Natural Hightech” emerges from the secret of traditional family recipes.
1962
Alfons Meier takes over the small manufacturing company and develops the first industrially manufactured lozenges with the famous and still successful recipe, “20 Herbs with Honey”. His sale suitcase packed with delicious and healing products, the founder of the company goes from door-to-door and brings the products to small shops and directly to the consumer.
1960
Development and industrial manufacturing of the first original Swiss herbal tablets.
